Omnia Loses Bluetooth

Postby edge56 » Mon Jun 08, 2009 1:29 am

I have the Omnia phone and an H15 Motorola headset. I am having problem keeping it paired. It seems to lose the headset everytime the headset battery goes dead and then when it is recharged the device has to be paired again. Also it loses the headset after a day when not used. Has anyone else got this problem and if so is there a cure? Any help would be appreciated

Sorry, I can't help you man. Although I have a Motorola bluetooth headset I have never tried to use it with this phone.

I have been using a Jabra bluetooth earpiece with my Omnia SCH-910 for about 9 months now without problems.
I've paired the devices once about 9 months ago and only had to re-pair the devices when I hard reset the phone.
It automatically disconnects for me when I walk away from my phone then reconnects again when I get within range.
I've never had a problem with the earpiece being off for a day or two. When I turn on the earpiece it pairs up with the phone right away.

I guess you should try another earpiece to see if it's the phone or the earpiece brand that's that problem.
Hope this helps.
